Basic Storyline

A Little History For You: Northern Lights is based in the mid 1800s around the time when the United States purchased Alaska from the Russians. Many Americans have moved here in order to get in on the fur trade. Though these trappers haven't reached as far as the Northern Lights Wolf Territory, that isn't to say that they aren't around. The wolf population is still fairly high and the wildlife along with it's habitat are in great condition. Man-kind hasn't touched Northern Lights or the great lands surrounding it.

The Storyline:

Three packs dwell in the lands known to the wild as Northern Lights Wolf Territory. They aren't the cliché good, evil, and neutral packs, they are packs simply trying to survive.

In the past, there had been tension surrounding Dunkel Dunst and Silbern Blitz. There were times when the two great packs came close to violence over their lands and resources, but their Leaders were peaceful thinkers and were crafty enough to avoid such conflicts. Eboshi of Dunkel Dunst, the brute of blind sight, and Aurora of Silbern Blitz, the fea that lit up the skies.

Then one day scouts reported seeing strange sights out in the distant lands. Rumors about these creatures spread like a plague throughout the whole lands. The wolves had hardly come in contact with the beast called man before and they were frightened of what these savages could do. As the reports continued, so did the panic of the wolves. Many stayed strong, keeping personal fears to themselves, while others found relief in mayhem. The packs were beginning to tear themselves apart through pure terror.

And then one was spotted. A young boy. The wolves kept clear, it wasn't in their nature to attack such a creature. After that day the wolves fell silent, stricken with a mixture of fear and curiosity. It was then decided between the two packs that they should learn more about this man.

Eboshi rose first. Past his blindness, the wolf was a powerful figure full of knowledge. He felt it was his duty as Alpha to protect his lands and find out more of man, to know whether it was a threat or not.

Aurora rose soon after. She had had contact with man before and their strange ways and also felt that, as Alphess of Silbern Blitz, she should go with Eboshi.

And so it was decided, with Eboshi's wisdom and Aurora's knowledge of man, the two would set out to discover more.

Time passed. Moons flew by with no sign of the Alphas returning. With no true leaders to guide them, the two packs began to disperse. There were many conflicts with bolder wolves trying to claim the territory as their own, but a brute named Zeektu would not have this. The Lead Scout of Silbern held off anyone who dared to try and take his Aurora's position. A simple fea named Mezzanotte protected Eboshi's rights on the land, using her wits to outsmart any challenger.

The two fought, knowing that their Alphas might not ever return. Soon, the packs numbers grew smaller and smaller until there was only a few devoted souls left. Another great length of time went by and still no return of Eboshi or Aurora. There seemed no hope of their homecoming, but some wolves stayed and never lost hope.

Through these years of hardship a new fea came upon the lands of Northern Lights. Her name was Astrid. She came off as a rather intelligent femme and she quickly made her claim on the wolven territory. She called her newly born pack, Menson.

Now there are three packs ruling the Northern Lights Kingdom. Dunkel Dunst, Silbern Blitz, and Menson. They are new and reborn, healing from their past and beginning their future with a new hope in mind.
